it's how we dream about reality

So I went and saw Watchmen last night and man, I have no words. I tend to say that a lot but in this case it's utterly true. The movie blew me away, even though it was nothing like I expected. My mind's still reeling with its dark and gritty tone and the harshness it employs in driving its point home. The Comedian, and Jon, and don't even get me started on Rohrschach AND HIS FACE. There are no words, but awesome and gripping and sliding right under your skin will have to do for now. \o/
Last night's trailer show included Transformers 2, Terminator: Salvation and X-Men Origins: Wolverine and man, this movie season is going to be one long dark trip into the Doom of Mankind, isn't it? Even Star Trek didn't lift the mood much, though the trailer was new to me and I enjoyed the hell out of it. I totally dig this new Kirk, oh how I do.
In other news, I'm stumped in my Supernatural marathon, mostly because I can't seem to bring myself to see Dean being dragged off to hell. Which: suckage, because I'm more than ready to get sucked in by Castiel's many charms (and why yes, I'm spoiled beyond repair and Impatience is my middle name). Also: Sam vs Dean FTW. I want that.
