I don't think I can get over it
Mar. 5th, 2010 07:33 pm01; Nasal spray = best invention since sliced bread.
02; I'm in an icon-making mood today.
02a; Well, apparently it was more of a header-making mood. Dean & Cas, lyrics from Setting Fire To Sleepy Towns by The Sleeping Years. (And it doesn't even have wings in it. ;p)
03; Loooong weekend off, yay! That means hunting for new music, which is a surefire way to cheer myself up.
04; Know these times in life when a decision that needs to be made practically lays itself out for you? I think I'm being pointed in a certain direction, and I hope everything will work out okay. Which is pretty cryptic, I know, but I don't want to jinx things upfront.
05; Aaaiiiieeeee Leo & Martin, you did yourselves proud. I frakking love it when a movie pulls the floor out from under you the way this one did. The trailer led me to believe I'd be watching a horror movie a la SPN's Asylum, which almost kept me from seeing the movie at all because that's the kind of horror I can barely stomach. I'm so very glad I got over myself and went to see it, because it was seriously amazing. Leo's performance blew me away, and I always love to see Ben Kingsley because he's always at the top of his game. The visuals were stunning as well; I especially loved the ashes and all the allusions to fire throughout the movie. And then the way they kept mixing up hallucination and reality, pulling you into the first as if it were the latter until you couldn't tell them apart anymore, putting you in the same place as poor Teddy. I'll have to watch it again in good time, but I definitely need to get those poor drowned kids out of my head first. Eeeep.
06; Work was insane today. On the upside, I had so much to do I barely noticed eight hours flying by.
07; Dear Hiatus from Hell, pls to be over soon, k? K.

Date: 2010-03-06 01:43 pm (UTC)Nasal Spray can save your nights!
I also hope everything will work out for you like you want it to!!
I cover my eyes, maybe I'll watch Shutter Island, the trailer looked amazing but I'm chicken sometimes (yes although I love SPN but that's a different thing).
At my work I always checked the watch, that sucked.
Oh hiatus it seems to last forever!
Have an awesome weekend my dear!

Date: 2010-03-06 03:33 pm (UTC)God, yes. I don't think I would have slept anywhere near as soundly without my spray.
Aww, you're so sweet and kind, thank you. *hugs*
You should totally watch Shutter Island - it's nowhere near as scary as the trailer is making it out to be, but it does have some pretty heavy issues.
I wish you the best of weekends, too, bb! Enjoy yourself!
