My sleeping patterns are all screwed to hell; I have been awake for 30 hours straight (6 of which I spent in a bus crowded with hyperactive and well-rested people) and I'm very clearly steering straight towards my breaking point. I barely know how to string together sentences any more, and I hope like you wouldn't believe that I'll get some restful sleep tonight, because I've got plans for tomorrow and I just yearn for it to be a good day. There's this Dean/Cas story I want to write, a post-series fic in which the two of them have tucked themselves away in a quiet corner of the world, simply enjoying each other's company. I feel that if I don't finish the first draft tomorrow, I never might. And it will be porny, and schmoopy, and quietly tender, because that's exactly what I want for the boys right now.

Yes, toward the end it got really horrible. I think I've never been so glad to finally be able to lie down. I tried to get some sleep on the bus but they somehow build these seats to make that all but impossible.

I have to admit I'm starting to like porny haha.

You're absolutely right!
First I thought these fics would ruin them for me in a way that I'm not able to watch them like I used to but I can't help myself. However it's a little strange actually to see them in an episode and to think: Oh wait they aren't gonna kiss, I only read that in a fic. Yeah I think I'm not making any sense ;)

Hee, I know what you mean. Makes watching a little frustrating, doesn't it? ;) But, seriously, I still enjoy their little platonic moments, especially now that we're getting so many of them. *loves on the boys*

When I keep thinking on that I'm sure this preslash on the show is more exciting than seeing them together as a couple. More space for interpretations and hopes and fics of course.
I really love the couples in my fav shows but preslash gives me more butterflies.
Hm so to see that in this way we're sososo lucky ;)

Yes, exactly! No matter how wonderful it would be to see at least a kiss on screen (I'd melt watching that), it's so much better to keep that part in our imagination. Because, yeah, in this case, anticipation is all the fun. :)
